Hi, I’m Ashlyn.
I love the Lord. It is by HIS redemptive grace and steadfast love that I have this platform to speak to you today. Each day is a gift with new opportunities and challenges.
We have all in some way, at some point in our lives, been affected by trauma, leaving an imprint on how we engage and navigate life. We notice the scars within ourselves and our children and see the ripple effects that it can have on the way we communicate and interact with the people around us. My own trauma and scars were my inspiration in creating Deeply Rooted Interventions.
It is my mission to help children and families come back to the safe and peaceful places within themselves so that they may be connected and restored to live life deeply rooted in who they were designed to be.

My undergraduate work included sociology and psychology with a focus on family and childhood studies. After completing a Masters in Special Education, I worked in public schools for 10 years in a variety of settings/positions.
After my children were born, I started my own business to help families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays. Working with families rather than individuals gave me new perspective, insight, and curiosity.
My experiences led me to search for a more fundamental approach in helping families restore their foundational needs.

In 2023, I became trained in the Safe and Sound Protocol as a certified provider and was also introduced to MNRI (Mastgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration).
Both therapies/interventions are integral work to enhance our brain and body connections for better integration.
Deeply Rooted Interventions is committed to helping kids and families through restorative connections to nurture safety and wellness within. We just need to start at the roots!
